Trail riding at BlackSky starts where the pavement ends.
BlackSky sits on the edge of South Cheyenne Canyon, backed up to
1.1 million acres of Pike National Forest. No crowds, no fences,
just open country and real freedom.
We ride horses, side-by-sides, ATVs, and mountain bikes. The
trails are rough, the air is clean, and every run is a reminder of
what it feels like to be fully awake in the mountains.
Our horses are steady, sure-footed, and used to the pace and
terrain of the canyon. Some are rescues, some are ranch-raised,
and all of them know the land better than most people ever will.
We offer shorter rides for newcomers and longer backcountry treks
for riders who want to cover real ground.
Expect creek crossings, ridge climbs, pine forest lines, open
sky, and the kind of quiet that only comes when it is just you,
your horse, and the trail.
SxS + ATVs
Speed, dirt, and country that still feels untamed.
The property connects directly into Pike National Forest, opening
up rocky climbs, muddy runs, creek crossings, and long ridgelines
where you can stop and take in the whole country.
Wild, weather-carved routes
No groomed park-trail experience
Ride safe, tread light, leave the land better than you found it
Mountain Biking
Pedal power through the canyon and the forest beyond.
The biking trails run through South Cheyenne Canyon and into the
surrounding forest with a mix of rolling terrain, steep climbs,
and natural rock features that test your legs and lungs.
No lift tickets, no crowds, no noise. Whether you want a quiet
ride through the trees or a line that spikes your heart rate,
there is room to ride out here.
